A Word from our Search Committee:

Stephanie Cline our prospective Minister of Families, will be with us in view of call September 30th-October 1st..

Church Body Vote after am service

Stephanie grew up in Baytown, TX where she made her profession of faith and was baptized. She met her husband Corey while attending ETBU. They are a well-grounded young couple who are a joy to get to know!

The couple enjoy serving alongside one another in ministry. Since dating, God has allowed Stephanie and Corey to serve alongside one another in various capacities across Texas and Louisiana.

Stephanie and Corey are excited about the potential of her being called to Center, TX – continuing the obedience of following God’s call.

Stephanie earned her Bachelors with a concentration in youth and Christian Education and minor in Children music from East Texas Baptist University, then continued her education at New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary, earning her Masters with a concentration in Childhood development in 2016. She is currently working towards her Ph.D. in Christian Education.

God called Stephanie to children’s ministry her junior year of high school. Ever since her calling, Stephanie pursues the ministry with passion, and seeks to lead children to Christ, while laying spiritual foundations as they mature into adolescence and eventually adulthood. She has served in a variety of children’s ministry related positions in a number of Baptist churches in Texas, as well as currently serving as children and student minister in Louisiana. She is also currently an adjunct professor for women’s ministry and Teaching Assistant at New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary.

Any sermon is a combined effort of using multiple sources of research and collected life material. The sermons prepared are the result of gleaning, reading, and leading of the Holy Spirit. Citation is important in presentation of publications but blocks the flow of connection in oral communication. Sometimes citation is given a backseat to communication.
